Interestingly, The buildings and Ikana Castle all have architecture reminiscent of Native American structures, particularly the Mesoamericans. However, the game does not specify whether the hill is the city or if the entire canyon area sits on the hill. On two occasions, Ikana Canyon area is alternatively referred to as "Ikana Hill". Its close association with the paranormal has prevented recolonization for the most part, and most people in Termina are too terrified to get close. The lack of vegetation and top soil, combined with the lack of shade from the sun, makes Ikana Canyon one of the most inhospitable areas in Termina. In fact, there are only three known living people in the canyon: Pamela, her father, and Sakon (whether or not the Ghost Hunter is alive is unspecified). The region has been cursed making deceased bodies return to life and suffer once again. Ikana Canyon once held a mighty and proud civilization built with the blood and bones of many fierce wars long ago, but when Link visits it, it is a wasteland swarming with the undead. It is a section of the Ikana region in the land of Termina. Ikana Canyon is a location from The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. After that it was pretty easy the rest of the way, finished it, grabbed the last few masks I needed then beat the game.Amy Beth Ghost Hunter Joelle Meg Pamela Pamela's Father Sakon Tingle Idk if it's just a problem with the sensitivity of the switch joystick versus the n64 or what but I hadn't been that frustrated in a game in a long time. I didn't remember it being that hard on the 3ds remake, but the switch port it took me from 9am first day to 10pm 2nd day to finally get it to work. I almost quit on it because stabilizing the shield to hit 3 targets in quick succession was infuriating. But that mirror room, Jesus Christ, that mirror room. The majority of of Stone Tower temples dungeon is fairly easy to do. And that final portion because of a puzzle gimmick in the actual dungeon requires me to do it again one or two more times. Then Ikana castle is pretty straight forward until the final stretch when you need a surprise powder keg, so more doubling back, all this to get the most frustratingly tedious puzzle gimmick, Elegy of Emptiness.Ĭlimbing stone tower isn't hard, it's a waste of time. Getting the Gibdo mask is easy and I do actually like that part, but the well is frustrating because you have no way other than previous memory or a guide to know who needs what to prepare, luckily after the first two everything else can be gathered within the dungeon though. How the heck do I get to other side  I can't figure it out My hookshot won't reach the other side where that tree is I haven't passed the Zora/Water Temple yet and I'm trying to do the Kafi/Anju thing. I completely forgot that the graveyard existed and I ran right past it and once you have that captain mask you need to get in Flats grave, but you can only do that on the first evening so if it's not the first evening you're SoL gotta SoT back. Throughout the game, Link will encounter a many different Side Quests that are completely optional, though many provide rewards like Heart Pieces, Masks, Empty Bottles, and more. Getting to the point that you can even start the climb up stone tower is if you never played this game or it's been so long you don't remember the process is an exercise in wasting your time. I know a lot of people love Ikana but in my recent playthrough, it was the most infuriating part of the game for me.
